Jumpstarting, Air Compression and DC Power All in One The Schumacher IP-95C is a combination DC powered Jump Starter, Air Compressor and external 12-volt power source, that goes wherever you do. Built around a powerful 12-volt, 9Ah, AGM battery, the IP-95C generates 650 peak Amps which can funneled into the onboard jumpstarter rated at 170A @ 5 seconds. Jumpstarting events utilize a convenient on/off switch at the front of the unit, as well as two 18" battery leads that wrap out of the way when not in use. In addition, the unit's charge can also be used to power all manner of DC powered devices via the unit's 12 Volt DC outlet and a user-supplied DC power adapter. The IP-95C also possesses a 150 psi air compressor capable of up to 10 minutes of use at a time, and also a USB port suitable for charging popular handheld devices. Safety and Convenience of Maintenance Mode Charging External 12-volt power sources are a must-have accessory for any driver who spends a decent amount of time on the road, but like any battery-based tool, for all their uses they are only as good as the charge they carry when you need them. For this reason most require an ongoing schedule of monitoring and recharging by owners in order to maintain a proper charge without damaging the internal battery, but the Schumacher IP-95C is different. When the battery eventually drops below this level again, another less powerful charging cycle begins that is just powerful enough to raise the battery back to the preset optimal charge level.
